Somewhere ... buried in the pages of the Bid 4 Bears site, you'll find our treasure map.  If you find it, click on it to fill in the form.  Only one entry per email address.  Duplicate entries will be removed from the system. On September 13th at 10:00 PM EST we'll draw for the treasure ... $100.00 USD delivered to your Paypal account. 

Our map is very elusive... it appears randomly... so you'll have to be hunting carefully and paying attention Maties!

Participants must have a valid Paypal account to receive the prize. No substitutes.  No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law.

Challenge Rules

• Participants must be registered between July7th, 2008 and July 26th, 2008 to be able to compete for the Grand Prize.

• Participants agree to list their bears, supplies kits, books, dolls, ATCs, ACEOs and swap items on the site between July 20th and September 13th, 2008. (All bear and doll related items are counted.) Non related items such as cars, stereos etc will be removed from the site without notice. All listings count towards the weekly total, including swap listings.

• The more you list, the better your chances of survival.

• Participants not listing any auctions in a week will be automatically removed from the contest.

• The number of auctions listed per seller in a given week determines the 'survivors' for this challenge.  Those with the fewest number of auctions listed in a given week will be removed from Bear Island.  In the event of a tie for the fewest number of auctions listed, participants with equal numbers will be removed from the Bear Island by random draw.  Once removed, a seller cannot be re-entered into the contest.

• The final number of registrations will determine the number of participants removed each week, until only one remains. 

• In the event of a tie, the winner will be chosen by random draw.

• In the final week, only one participant will be allowed to remain. That participant will have the greatest number of auctions listed in that week of those participants remaining.  In the event of a tie between survivors, the winner will be chosen by random draw.

• The winning decisions of  the B4B administration are final.

• The Treasure, or Grand Prize will be awarded on September 13th, 2008.  Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No cash substitutions.  Void where prohibited by law.

Grand Prize:  One full year of B4B Preferred Seller Status. September 13, 2008 - September 12, 2009. This allows the winner to list on B4B without incurring any fees whatsoever.  The value of the prize is dependant upon the number of listings submitted by the winner and the final values of each listing upon close.
