'Bear-ied Treasure' Event!

Join us this summer for a series events and swaps in our 'Bear-ied Treasure' Event! There will be plenty of new bears and great items to add to your collection and fun events to participate in.

Summer Auction Survival Challenge

Our Survival Bear Challenge takes place from July 7th until September 13th, 2008. Sign up takes place until July 26th, and auctions begin on July 20th. That's 8 weeks of fabulous auctions!

Registered participants list as many auctions as possible each week, and the player with the fewest number of auctions is asked to leave the contest at the end of the week. Participants listing zero auctions in a week are automatically 'cast away.' In the event of a tie, the participant who 'walks the plank' is selected by random draw. The last survivor is granted the grand prize: A year of Bid 4 Bears with No Fees whatsoever.

Second Place: 3 months of Bid 4 Bears with No Fees.

Third Place: An online workshop of the winner's choice at the EbearZ University. (Live workshops excluded.)

Somewhere ... buried in the pages of the Bid 4 Bears site, you'll find our treasure map. If you find it, click on it to fill in the form. Only one entry per email address. Duplicate entries will be removed from the system. On September 13th at 10:00 PM EST we'll draw for the treasure ... $100.00 USD delivered to your Paypal account.

The map will not appear until July 20th.

Our map is very elusive... it appears randomly... so you'll have to be hunting carefully and paying attention Maties!

Participants must have a valid Paypal account to receive the prize. No substitutes. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law.

From July 24th - July 27th we'll be a part of the Christmas In July Online Show & Conference happening at NCTB. View and Purchase beautiful bears, take a workshop, or vote for your favourite creation in the Best of Show Awards competition.

There will be lots of door prizes, so mark your calendar for this fabulous event.

Workshops

Join us at the EbearZ U for a free ATC workshop to get you primed for the swap. Then pop back into B4B to swap your ATC with your friends .... old and new! We've also got a pin workshop, a polar bear workshop and Felted Paws with Judi Paul!

The ATC class is free but you must register for it.
